No, Kate is not an acupuncturist, she is a wool-upuncturist (common name: needle felter).

The Works
I’m pretty sure that Kate is made of smiles and cake – they seem like the perfect ingredients for her happy creations, from Travelling Ted to zombie sock monkeys, her work inhabits a place of unadulterated delight.
Here for example is Travelling Ted (who has his own Twitter account @ted_cloud) looking after a baby bear.
I am sure you’ll agree that Christmas isn’t Christmas without a zombie monkey, and Easter isn’t Easter without a super fun bun-bun!
Also (possibly high on rainbows and chocolate sprinkles) Kate makes peg dolls and tableaux. The following are based on famous scenes, but she also produces excellent personalised commissions 🙂
And More…
Kate runs workshops in needle felting, makes brooches, and sews bags and cushions too!
You can see more of her work on her facebook page facebook.com/KateCloudTextileArt, buy her goodies from the shop / art fairs at Long Eaton Art Room, and follow her on twitter @KateCloud3
